We bake our pizza at 385 degrees. We use a gas oven to bake our pizza.

How long do you cook pizza?

We bake our pizza for 15 to 20 minutes. This time may vary and it may take a little longer to brown the pizza.

You’ll want to check on the pizza at 20 minutes and you may want to leave it in the oven for a few more minutes to brown it a little more.

What do you put on a homemade pizza?

That depends on what you like!

Several toppings we have used in the past include pepperoni, minced mushrooms, sausage bits, tomato slices, spinach leaves, and onion slices.

You can put whatever you want-that’s one reason why pizza makes a great dinner option-you get to eat what you want.

If you want a sweeter tasting pizza, add some ham and pineapple.

Add only meats if you are a meat eater.

Dairy free? Replace the cheese using dairy free cheese slices.

Only add vegetables to your pizza if you are vegetarian.

If pizza includes no meat, then it is considered vegan.

Our pizza crust does not include meat.

We did top our pizza with pepperoni, but the toppings are optional.

Gluten free pizza crust is made of different flours, including rice flour, quinoa flour, coconut flour, etc.

Saute 3 cloves of garlic until transparent in color.

Add a can of crushed tomatoes.

Step 3

Let it simmer for 5 minutes.

Add honey and salt for flavor.

Step by step how to make easy homemade, dairy free, sugar free and gluten free pizza

Step 1

Drop the yeast into 1 cup of warm water and let sit for about 15 minutes.

Mix the honey, salt, olive oil, 5 cups of flour and milk in a large bowl. If you are dairy-free, substitute rice milk for cow milk.

Add the yeast to the large bowl of ingredients once it begins to foam.

Add more flour to the dough, if it is too sticky and knead the dough by punching it down and turning it as you combine all of the ingredients together into one cohesive dough. After doing so, skip to the (optional) step 5 step below if you have or are able to purchase a bread machine(it will make your life so much easier and your dough recipes so much better, trust me!)!

If you don’t have a bread machine, knead and get the dough to look like this before moving on to step 5.

Step 5

Next, let the dough rise in a warm place(such as in a bowl on a warm stove top) until around double it’s size.

Empty the semi-kneaded dough into a bread machine for the perfect pizza dough. Then, select the white bread cycle and let the bread machine do the rest of the kneading as well as the rising.

Empty the pizza dough onto a rounded pizza baking sheet and spread evenly after the dough has risen. You may make a crust around the edges if that’s your preference.
