What does quiche contain?

The main ingredients in our quiche include vegetables, eggs and milk. We like to use the 1% milk to reduce fat in the recipe.

In addition, the whole wheat flour and the pie crust are optional add ons.

If you take out the whole wheat flour and replace the crust with a gluten-free crust, you’ve got yourself a gluten-free meal!

Furthermore, you can replace the mozzarella with cheddar….or, as pictured in the image above, I added cheddar cheese cubes into the recipe because I was running low on cheese.

With this quiche, you can make variations to it and it still tastes delicious!

Is quiche high in protein?

Absolutely! Our homemade vegetable quiche recipe contains eggs and cheese, both of which have protein.

In addition to protein, our quiche provides plenty of calcium with the addition of dairy milk and cheese.

If you include the whole wheat flour, you’ve also added some whole grains in there as well.
